Prince Negro Costs Collection, 1790

Overview

The Prince Negro Costs Collection is a digitized set of cost‑accounting documents produced by the State of Connecticut in 1790.   • February 28, 1790 sheet – addressed to Joseph Peck, listing board expenses for Samuel Osborn, Joseph Dickinson, Levi Leach, Enock Cooper, Tom Negro, Bains, Prine Negro, and Zadock Negro. It also records costs for blankets, firewood, coal, boat quarters, and cloths for Dickinson’s friends. The bill was signed by Erastus Wolcott and notes an order dated March 2, 1790.
