An account of time and expenses in pursuit of Sam Weed & Jos' Weed Jos' Frowbridge & Zadock negro & assisted S. Weed to escape gone next day 2 men to Darby £2:0-0 18 men in day in searching of town at £1-4-10 next day pursued myself with 5 men assisting and rode all night £9-10 expenses, 14/6 prepaid him 10-9-6 next day myself & 5 men in pursuit of Sam Weed expenses at night 38/6 the same day sent 41 men in pursuit of Jos Weed Jos' Frowbridge prepaid one horse for Clark 10/3 they took Weed & Frowbridge 3 men assisting of them paid to watchmen with of night & assisting 2 next days £5:10y. expenses for 7 men at night and keeping of horses £2-3-0 paid to Mr. Wm Clark for his assistance 40, £0 for our expenses at Mr. Clark's £3:6:6, 1st day following returned to New Haven with Jos' Weed, Jos' Frowbridge & Zadock negro 5 men assisting me next day carried up before Mr. Justice Hubbard for my self and assistance when they were committed to Goal.
