The officers of the Faculty shall be a Dean, Secretary, & Treasurer, who shall be elected by ballot at each annual meeting. Article 2nd. Annual Meeting The Annual Meeting shall be held on the 1st Monday in January. Article 3rd. Duties of Dean. It shall be the duty of the Dean to have general supervision over the College buildings & property, & over the Janitor to attend to the business correspondence & such other matters not otherwise delegated as usually appertain to the officer. He shall be authorized to draw on the Treasurer for any money necessary in his department the sum of which shall not at any time exceed ten dollars.
Article 4th. It shall be the duty of Duties of Secretary, the Secretary to make & preserve a record of the proceedings of the meetings of the Faculty & conduct the general correspondence. Article 5th. It shall be the duty of Duties of Treasurer, the Treasurer to preserve all monies acquired by the Faculty & to pay the same to the order of the Dean, countersigned by the Secretary, in pursuance of a vote of the Faculty, & to keep a full account of the same & make a report at each Annual Meeting, or oftener if required. Article 6th. The Dean shall have authority to call a meeting of the Faculty whenever he shall deem it advisable & it shall be incumbent upon him to do so, whenever requested by three of the Members, & in case of a refusal on his part when so requested, a written notice signed by those Members shall be regarded as sufficient by the Faculty.
Article 7th. A majority of the members shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business. Article 8th. The Dean shall not have power to contract debts or make expenditures to a greater amount than ten dollars without our order from the Faculty. Article 9th. Fees. The fees of this Institution for the regular Medical course, shall be as follows: Each Professor's Fee - $10.00 Demonstrator's " 5.00 Graduation " 25.00 Article 10th. No Professor or Demonstrator shall sell a regular ticket of the College, unless the applicant shall exhibit the matriculating ticket. Article 11th. No fees shall be exacted. Exemption from fees after the second session;
Article 124. Students shall be required to pay the Demonstrator's fees for each course of instruction. Article 134. A Committee on Beneficiaries shall be appointed annually, to whom the Dean shall refer all applications for admission on this basis and who shall report their actions to the Dean. Article 144. The Beneficiaries' Fees shall constitute a fund to be used to meet the current and incidental expenses of the Faculty or for any other purpose which it may direct and any surplus plus which may accrue may be divided equally among the Professors whenever they may so decide. Article 154. The Demonstrator shall be chosen by the Faculty and shall state hours for attending to the duties of the Office which shall be arranged so as not to interfere with the regular lectures.
She shall be under the supervision of the Professor of Anatomy, whose lectures she shall attend & give recapitulations of them twice a week.
