Philadelphia January 16, 1851 A meeting of the Faculty was held at the College. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and adopted. A communication was received from the Eclectic Medical College asking for the use of the rooms in the College which was ordered to be filed. On motion of Dr. Longshore it was resolved that the Faculty deem it inexpedient to rent the rooms in the College for the use of the Eclectic Medical College. Came on motion adjourned. Philadelphia May 29, 1851 A meeting of the Faculty was held at the office of the Dean. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and adopted. On motion of Dr. Longshore, the Dean was authorized to make arrangements with Mr. Palmer for advertising the College announcement in several different papers. The meeting then adjourned to the following Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. [Present at this meeting, Drs. Dickenson, Gleason, Johnson, Linczey, Longshore and Moseley].

Philadelphia Sept 10, 1851. A meeting of the Faculty was held this day at the office of the Dean. Dr. Mickison as Prof of Chemistry tendered his resignation which was accepted. On motion of Dr. Gregory Resolved that a vote thankfully be tendered to Dr. Dickason for his kindness in accepting the chair of chemistry in our deficiency, for his perseverance in getting up apparatus & material for his course, for the faithful discharge of his duty while an incumbent of that chair and for his gentlemanly conduct in yielding it for the purpose of reinstating it; previous appointee Dr. Johnson carried and an motion adjourned. Philadelphia Dec 6, 1851.
