Resolved On motion of Dr Preston, that seventy five dollars of the Faculty money be advanced to Dr Fussell; to be refunded when he shall receive from the Carparatans his pay for filling the Chair of Anatomy. One dollar was given to the Sec. for expenses of correspondence. A Preston Sec Jan 7th 1861 The Annual Meeting. Present Temple, Birdsell, Coates, Fussell, Preston. Dr Fussell was elected Dean unanimously Dr Temple " " Treasurer " Preston " " Secretary " Committee on the Museum Prof's Fussell, Temple & Preston, Committee on Beneficiaries, Fussell, Temple & Preston, Adjourned to meet on Saturday the 12th after appointing Prof. Fussell to give the Valedictory in March.

Jan 12th 1861 Present Birdsell, Fussell, Coates, Preston. The Dean produced his annual Report. Prof. Preston was appointed to audit the accounts & report to next meeting. On motion of Prof. Coates it was Resolved that Prof. Birdsell be appointed to convey to Thomas H. Powers, the cordial thanks of the Faculty for his generous donation of medicines for our dispensary. An motion adjourned to meet on Monday the 29th inst at 12 M. A. Preston Sec
