5 authorised to receive the matriculating fees of the students, at the commencement of each session during the continuance of the present lease, to be appropriated in part payment of the rent. Resolved, that if the matriculating fees are in-adequate to pay the rent ($350) of the College, the Professor pledge themselves to pay the balance out of the first funds which they receive from the students for the respective hotels on motion adjourned. Philad. Sept 13th 1850. A meeting of the Faculty of the Female Medical College of Pmnd held at No 229 Arch St, the minutes of the previous meetings were read and adopted. The Dean reported that he had made arrangements with Mr H. Birnbaum as a Janitor of the College at the rate of $200 per annum with the privilege of certain rooms. On motion of Dr. Gleason, the report was recd. It was moved the report be laid on the table - after some discussion further action was postponed until next meeting. On motion it was resolved that any member of the faculty invite males to attend his lectures by permission of the class and that strangers thus invited take their seats with the professor.
