9 on motion Prof. Gleason and Dickerson were elected to serve as Physician to the College Chingue, the former to the surgical and the latter to the medical department. Prof. Longshore moved that three members be appointed a committee to procure medicines for the use of the College dispensary. Carried the Dean appointed Profs Gleason, Chalmon and Dickerson to act as committee. The Dean reported that he had received three dollars for one week rent of the lower front room of Building No 229 Arch St. Prof Chalmon offered the following: Resolved that the thanks of the Faculty be tendered to Dr. J. F. X. McCloskey for the able and satisfactory manner in which he has discharged the duties of Dean during the time he officiated in that station. Carried Prof. Dickerson offered the following: Resolved that no member of this Faculty shall have the privilege of speaking twice upon the same subject except by permission of the Dean. Carried Prof. Gleason offered the following: Resolved that the Dean be empowered to rent
