It was agreed to recommend to the Corporators that Ellwood Harvey M.D. be elected to the Chair of Obstetrics and Diseases of Women & Children — William M. Cornell M.D., to the Chair of General Therapeutics and Materia Medica — Seth Pancoast M.D., to the Chair of Anatomy. Then adjourned. David I. Johnson M.D. Dean. No. 15. Philad. Feb. 7th 1853—10½ A.M. Minutes of last meeting read and adopted. On motion of Dr. Harvey, seconded by Dr. Livezey, the recommendation of Dr. Cornell to the Chair of General Therapeutics and Materia Medica was rescinded. Then adjourned. David I. Johnson M.D. Dean. No. 16. Philad. Feb. 15th 1853— Minutes of last meeting read and adopted. It was agreed to withdraw from before the Corporators the recommendation of Dr. Seth Pancoast to the Chair of Anatomy. Then adjourned. David I. Johnson M.D. Dean No. 17. Philad. Feb. 25th 1853. Minutes of last meeting read and adopted. It was agreed to recommend Dr. Edwin Russell to the Corporators as worthy to fill the Chair of Anatomy.
