- A meeting of the Faculty of the Female Medical College of Pmnd held at No 229 Arch St, the minutes of the previous meetings were read and adopted. The Dean reported that he had made arrangements with Mr H. Birnbaum as a Janitor of the College at the rate of $200 per annum with the privilege of certain rooms. On motion of Dr. Gleason, the report was recd. It was moved the report be laid on the table - after some discussion further action was postponed until next meeting. On motion it was resolved that any member of the faculty invite males to attend his lectures by permission of the class and that strangers thus invited take their seats with the professor. Philadelphia June 25th 1850.
A stated meeting of the faculty held June 25th 1850. The minutes of the previous meeting having been read were adopted. In motion of Dr. Burr it was resolved that a committee of three members of the faculty, be appointed to investigate all reports (if any there be) relative to the character and standing of Dr. Burr as a member of the Medical profession, which may affect his position as a professor in the Female Medical College of Penn. Drs. McCloskey, Moseley and Challoner were appointed the said committee. On motion of Dr. Challoner it was resolved that a committee of three, be appointed to draft a copy of By-Laws for the government of the Faculty. Drs. Moseley, Challoner & Longshore were appointed on this committee. On motion adjourned to meet on Tuesday 8. PM July 2nd at the Philadelphia College of Medicine.

Dr Gleason offered the following Resolved that the Demonstrator in this College has all the rights and privileges of the most favored Demonstrators in this City and she is authorised to purchase and prepare subjects for the Demonstration & present or sell them to the class at her own expense. Refused to a committee of three Dis Chaloner Langshon & McCluskey.
Dr Gleason offered the following Resolved that no one member of this Faculty has any more privileges than any other member of the same Faculty. Carried
Dr Gleason offered the following Resolved that the right to govern this Faculty is vested in the faculty themselves and the Dean or any other member has no right to interfere with the conduct of any member but to report what he pleases to the Faculty for their action. Carried
Dr Gleason offered the following Resolved that the Demonstrator of Anatomy in this Institution

A meeting of the Faculty was held at the office of the Dean the minutes of the previous meeting were red and adopted.
On motion of Dr. Chaloner it was Resolved that the Dean of the Faculty be requested to obtain from Mrs. M. B. Gleason and any other person who is in attendance on the regular lectures of the course in the College the Mat. reculation and other fees due the Professors carried on motion it was resolved that the funds received for rent of rooms in the College be paid to the President W. D. Mullen Esq. Carried.
Tendered his resignation as visiting Physician to the Hospital which was accepted on motion adjourned. Previous to which it was resolved that the Dean tender to the Historical Society the thanks of the Faculty for the courtesy in sending them a copy of admission &c.
